Since becoming a member at North Colony Church of Christ, my personal relationship with God has become stronger. My outlook on what it takes to be a Christian and walking in faith has been so internally fulfilling. Looking back over the past 5 months that my family have been members at this congregation, we have increased in growth by studying God's word, by coming to the bible studies and worship services offered at North Colony Church of Christ and independently studying. The messages and lessons are given in a manner that the youngest to the oldest can grasp the meaning and understanding of God's word. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Hello I’m 22 years of age and I would just like to share how Jesus has blessed me in my walk as a Christian. The lord has blessed me abundantly by being a member of North Colony Church of Christ. At times when I was at my lowest points I almost allowed Satan to come in and take control. But my brothers and sisters stayed by my side and encouraged me that he will never leave you nor forsake you. In my Christian walk there has been some challenges and I’ve had some obstacles to overcome. But I can truly say that I’m blessed and I love the lord. My prayer is to trust in God and pray to him, talk to him and he will answer your prayers. Have faith in him, he is our father and nothing is impossible for him. Amen! “John”3:16 for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in me should not perish but have everlasting life.

The North Colony Church of Christ (NCCOC) is truly a blessing in my life. Through the simplicity and applicable teaching there, I have been encouraged, strengthened and challenged on my Christian walk. It has also developed my two young men, ages 23 and 15 to become strong Christian leaders in our home and in our community. I assure you, you will be challenged and blessed in your spiritual walk at NCCOC. Proverb 14:26 In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence And His Children will have a place of refuge.

Shernett, We all know that God’s ways are not our ways. God’s ways are mysterious to us but not to him. Last year I was trying to figure out what direction my life was going in. I wasn’t really satisfied with the way things were going, but I was sure that I needed to be in God’s will no matter where I was or what I was doing. I truly wanted to be in the right place but I wasn’t absolutely or positively sure that I was making the right decision. I came to Texas to visit my nephew and his family 3 times before I decided to stay. I met Bro. Willie Williams on the 4th of July. He was engaged in conversation with my nephew for quite a while. He was very impressed with Bro. Williams and I got excited for him. We invited him to eat with us later in the day and he graced us with his presence. We were amazed with our neighbor, but the best was yet to come!! Brother Williams held a bible study with my niece and I on September 24, 2008 and 3 ½ hours later we were in Lewisville for a double baptism, how great is our God!! I thought that I was coming to Texas to help my nephew and his family, but in all actuality God brought me to Texas to SAVE ME. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
